Bideawee 12th Annual Love on a Leash

Bideawee, Inc., the leading pet adoption and animal welfare organization serving Long Island and New York metropolitan area communities, hosts it 12th Annual Love on a Leash Pet Fair and Pet Parade on Saturday, August 25th. The annual family event will take place at The Village Green in Westhampton Beach from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM to celebrate the end of the summer in the heart of Westhampton with Bideawee and beloved four-legged friends.

Bideawee welcomes all to join the festivities. Bideawee’s expert staff will be on hand to answer pet-related questions, from how to adopt a new pet to advice about animal care and well-being. Experienced Veterinary staff at the Animal Hospital at Bideawee will be on site to provide oral hygiene tips and products, and even demonstrate how to brush your dog’s teeth. Families can learn the latest tips on dog manners with a Training Demonstration from Bideawee’s Certified Behavioral Trainer. Kids can show off their dog’s obedience skills to compete for prizes by participating in the Junior Trainer Competition. Guests also can enjoy raffle prizes, giveaways and more!

Bideawee adoptable dogs will join the afternoon festivities looking for their forever home.

The Dog Parade will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. Families are invited to march with their dogs and show off their fashionably-attired pets in hopes of garnering the highly coveted “most creative pet costume” awards. Winners will receive free memberships to the Dog Park at Bideawee in Westhampton.
